Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG Vienna Insurance Group (Vienna Insurance Group)
In April 2009 Vienna Insurance Group a contract acquired 77.08% from the Bulstrad’s capital through a sequence of indirect participations.
The Vienna Insurance Group is the leading Austrian insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe. Among the international competitors, the Vienna Insurance Group ranks among the market leaders in this region.
Outside its Austrian home market, the Vienna Insurance Group operates (through subsidiaries) in Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstin, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Turkey and Ukraine. Branch offices are maintained in Italy and Slovenia.
Alongside WINER STADTISCHE Versicherung AG Vienna Insurance Group, the Vienna Insurance Group in Austria includes Donau Versicherung, Bank Austria Creditanstalt Versicherung and Union Versicherung. The Group also has ownership interests in Wustenrot Versicherung and Sparkassen Versicherung.
The Vienna Insurance Group is among the market leaders in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania and Georgia.
Kardan Financial Services B.V.
The other shareholder of BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP - Kardan, through its Dutch company - ТBIH Financial Services is a shareholder in TBI Bulgaria, which owns shares in 10 companies from the non-banking financial sector and 19,75 % from BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP.
Services Group NV (TBIH).
TBIH is a financial services group, registered in the Netherlands, its main objective is to establish, acquire and actively manage investments in the financial sector of Central and Eastern Europe. Initially the activities of TBIH were concentrated on the insurance and pension fund business, exclusively in the Balkan’s region countries.
At the end of 2001 TBIH established a new fully owned subsidiary TBIF Financial Services BV aiming to expand the provided financial services, such as: leasing, asset management, mortgages and consumer finance and etc.
