Liability for payment of customs duties

This cover is provided as a separate clause under the property insurance.

According to the provisions of this clause, BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP covers the amounts due for customs debt, including custom duties, excise duties, VAT and penal interest of the insured in its capacity as person in charge by virtue of the Law on Customs and the rules for its application, to the relevant guarantee customs department.

Subject to the insurance are only outstanding amounts for customs debts, resulting from loss of property due to an event covered under a valid property insurance policy.
