Is it possible to take up household property insurance for a period longer than one year?
The insurance period is one year or longer, as agreed between the parties.
You may conclude a comprehensive insurance policy Bulstrad Bonus Home for a period of up to 5 years.
What do I need to do in case the insured property is sold off to a new owner?
You need to inform the Insurer in writing not later than 7 (seven) days, starting from the date of the transfer.

May I take up insurance for property acquired after the conclusion of the policy?
You need to inform BULSTRAD thereof.
An annex will be prepared for adding the newly acquired property under the cover, in consideration of a paid additional premium for the remaining insurance period.
When do I need to inform the Insurer in case an insurance event occurs?
Upon occurrence of an insurance event, you need to inform immediately the fire safety authorities, and/or the police, and/or other competent authorities, when this is necessary according to the nature of the insurance event.
At the same time, you need to inform BULSTRAD in writing within 3 (three) days of learning of the occurrence, preserving the damaged property for inspection by representatives of the INSURER and ensuring their access to the property.
