The second edition of Little Giants for the Bulstrad Cup kicks off in October

The first round of the national mini volleyball tournament will take place in Sofia on 29-30 October, in Hristo Botev Hall.

The Little Giants national mini volleyball tournament for the Bulstrad Cup takes off for the second consecutive year, with the first round of games to be held on 28 and 29 October in Hristo Botev Hall, Sofia.

In 2019, the tournament rounds will take place in 8 locations, during October and November, with an anticipated total number of over 800 young participants from 100+ schools across Bulgaria. The registration of participants at the schools has already begun. The second game event is scheduled for 6 November in Veliko Tarnovo, to be followed by qualifying rounds in Ruse, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora and Plovdiv, before the finals in Razlog.

Traditionally, the teams competing in the national mini volleyball tournament for the Bulstrad Cup are mixed, with girls and boys from the 5th and the 6th grade. This year the organizers have planned awesome surprises for the participants, special guests for the events, and a big prize of attending a sports camp.

Little Giants is a continuing initiative promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among pre-teens and supporting the development of the volleyball sport in the country. The national mini volleyball tournament is made possible by the help and involvement of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and the local municipalities.
