BULSTRAD becomes Insurer of the Year for 2021

The most prestigious distinction in the insurance sector has been conferred to ZEAD BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP.

The award “Insurer of the Year” for Non-life insurance in 2021 was presented to Mr. Nedyalko Chandarov, CEO of the Company, by Mr. Boyko Atanasov, Chair of the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC).

During this year’s 14^th edition of the prestigious awards, ZEAD BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP becomes recognized as Insurer of the Year for the 8^th time in the years between 2007 и 2022. The Company has been honored with this distinction for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The “Insurer of the Year” awards are an annual event aimed to recognize the best insurance companies in Bulgaria. The contenders for the award are selected by an expert jury on the basis of objective and public criteria.

The “Insurer of the Year” 2021 ceremony took place on 19 May 2022 at Marinela Hotel.

Organizers of the event of the Annual awards “Insurer of Year” for 2021 are: the VUZF University for higher education in insurance and finance, the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABI), the Bulgarian Association of Supplementary Pension Security Companies (BASPSC), Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation, and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers (BAIB).
